but I agree with what you said.
a lot of folks using a chart or some other contrivance to make up a reason a stock is moving -- there are so many variables impacting price, it's rare that an individual could know everything. there's a long, long list of variables.
but it is good to know something.
i have talked myself out of a lot of stocks in my lifetime that ran up a lot.
i have avoided more of them that were being aggressively discussed nonstop on message boards that shortly therefter started a death march to zero.
everyone has their own trading style that works for them, and if they don't, they ultimately lose all their money and get washed out. stick with what works.
buying every stock that trades .0001 -- i highly doubt this is a winning strategy. but there are groups that think they can beat the odds in the short run. they post all over ihub.
that's not my style. but i do enjoy laughing at them and their tactics. and trying to teach people that really don't know, don't have any trading style, and are sheep following others around.
