I am not a dentist - I was quoting a dentist who I believe is authentic and honest in his commments. My wife is a hygienist in Portl, OR, and her dentists are not convinced yet either, but that is the wall of worry for BLTI to climb.

This dentist is saying the teeth can get tiny cracks from the drill that could cause problems later. BTW, the laser costs $50,000, not 70, and the dentist can lease at approx. $1000/month for 5 years. They also can get a $20,000 tax credit, so effectively, they can try the laser for free the first two years. The drill is much less expensive, but I believe the laser pays for itself from what I have researched so far. Insurance is billed the same way for laser as drill, same codes, so the insurance doesn't really know which was used. There are 150,000 dentists in the US, so just getting 5% of them to go laser, BLTI should do fine.
