The neocons have their own agenda and it is all about aggressive foreign policy, aggressive mideast policy specifically. Policy consequences to the US are irrelevant to them. The neocons need a puppet prez or some opportunistic candidate who will dance their tune for power -- thus enabling them to retain control. Hillary is more that candidate than McCain, who has traditionally been known to be more "independent". As we have said before, there is nothing "conservative" about the neoconservative movement. They are actually militaristic, big gov liberals who found a platform within the Republican party. I am certain they would be pleased with a prez Hillary if she dances their tune...
