Not in specific, but I keep them cultivate in my garden because they break down micro-nutirents and make minerals more available for plant usage. Eathworm castings are one of the best soil amendments of all. Soil should be damp, not wet for worms. The air must breath. They love compost and coffee grounds. I'm not sure where they went, but they go into deeper soil when the temps get hotter and the surface layers when water logged. Ants hate diatomaceous earth and boric acid. Diatomaceous earth you can sprinkle onto your soil. Cuts chitonous shelled ant and such to ribbons. Won't harm worms.
