I recall some OTC s trades from years back when in the case of splits there were people who thought they were selling their shares ex-divy and instead were selling them with due-bills and the buyers were getting the divys. These come up every now and then and when I can I try to get in on them.
When it actually happens - you get a good education. The threads to on for ever and a day on the matter and there are ususally lots of people happy and lots of people sad.
but then again - when trading OTC you always need to be careful. I bought a stock after a 1000/1 reverse split that reduced the OS to 15k shares. the mms failed to reprice the stock and sold me 5k shares (1/3 of the company) for $750.00 ---LMAO --- really!
I called my broker to make sure I had the post-split CUSIP and that caused them to look into the trade. They busted the trade and showed me short the stock and minus a million dollars in my account. They eventually straightened it out. I should have laid low until the trade settled ...lol
