I think "retard" is a gender-neutral insult. What I'm saying is that some men really seem to believe they can shut a woman up by calling her "fat", even if they have no idea whether she is or not. I find that weird.

There's lots of comment in the media on Hillary's clothes. First, because she only wore black pantsuits. When she switched to color, there were complaints about the colors in question. When did I last see anyone in the media object to a male candidate's ties?

In the States, that is. When I lived in Italy, the press commented on the wardrobe choices of male and female politicians, usually describing the outfits in question in minute detail.
