Richard A. Simonson & George Soros are both Directors of the Board of Trustees of International House

I see that and i start thinking hostile takeover. I never did like the news that Soros was in IDCC. I only really know soros from the political side, but what i think of as a big whale shareholder activist made me nervous in IDCC.

I googled, it looks like soros got in NVT(a NOK buyout) last year. 53,000 shares. Not a giant position but larger than the average it looks like. (of course he owns A LOT of stuff)

Could nokia be settling but as a back up (or sneak attack) also be preparing to make a bid over IDCC's head to it's shareholders at the same time?

Then of course IDCC shoots the 8k out to prove a real deal is possible so don't bite on a buyout BS shareholders if it comes.


I know it's the same person, nokia, doing both, but we have lawyers suing and lawyers settling all at the same time, why not be working both ends of this deal?
