I know. Ran that several times as well. All kinds of variables, too.

Uninstalled A: drive software and all occurences in device manager.

Stuck the CD in there, it reinstalls it as an A drive floppy disk.

Craziest thing I've seen.

I could stick my big toe in the socket, and it would probably detect it being an A: drive.
