folly, the past 20 or so years of forced political correctness has caused lots of bitterness.. this administration allowed that bitterness to have a voice and show itself... i think many people, even those who thought they benefitted from politically correct environments are now seeing it was all just a big act..sometimes it feels like we are living in the years leading up to the civil rights movements crux... what was attempted to be put in place in the 60s was an honest effort to help disadvantaged people overcome prejudice that was never warranted.. unfortunately it didnt have the impact and effect that was hoped for and never really achieved the environment that was intended.... projections for the next 50 years show this country will be divided mainly into two groups.. white evangelicals and catholic latinos... the country's make up is changing..because those two groups are the most busy breeding..(in europe, muslims are the most busy breeding). thats the raw facts... times change... im rolling with the punches and seriously thinking about learning spanish... why not... weve seen the divisions that the far right white religious people have brought to the table and especially since reagan courted them into the republican party. ive found the spanish people ive met to be more to my liking and besides that, we have something in common, our catholic heritage.. religion will be the great divider in the future and race will take 2nd place over the next few decades...it just so unfortunate that we cant seem to find a way to all get along... how does it begin?
