Previous phone discussions with Howard Levy have left no doubt in my mind as to his harsh opinion of Peter Van Dyke resulting from his 16 month experiences with him in an airline named Jamaica Air Link six years ago. Today I called Howard again to summarize and clarify a few points and he opened the conversation by asking what is Peter Van Dyke up to now. I told him that PVD was still promoting the Integrity airplane, and was trying to buy the Thrush airplane company in Georgia.

Levy said “…Well, I have a lot of experience operating the BN Islanders, and I am also very familiar with this idiotic Integrity Aircraft scheme. PVD has been told by aviation experts for years that the Integrity could never be certified by the U. S. or EU with more than 9 passengers and that would only happen after several years and millions invested in development cost, but PVD thinks it makes a good story to uninformed investors, his potential market”.

Levy then said “…It is important that every one understand”:

“…PETER VAN DYKE IS A WHITE COLLAR CRIMINAL THAT SHOULD BE GOTTEN OFF THE STREET BEFORE HE DOES MORE DAMAGE IN THE AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY….” “WHILE HE KNOWS VERY LITTLE ABOUT THE INDUSTRY, HE IS A SMOOTH CON MAN WITH AN ACTIVE IMAGINATION, AND HE CAN COST UNSUSPECTING INVESTORS A LOT OF MONEY”, HE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.

The balance of this post contains additional verbatim quotes of Howard Levy, the
highly respected CEO of International Air Link, a successful Jamaican charter and scheduled airline regarding:

“THE ADVENTURES OF PETER VAN DYKE IN JAMAICA”

Levy went on to say “…Van Dyke’s claim that he served as Chairman of Jamaica AirLink is an outright lie”.

Levy explained that, in response to a search for funds needed to grow Jamaica AirLink (owned by Levy), in 2002 Peter Van Dyke appeared in the Jamaica AirLink office and represented himself as an investor who is ‘knowledgeable in the airline business’ and is ready and willing to invest significant funds into Jamaica AirLink in return for a position on Jamaica AirLink’s Board of Directors.

An agreement was made between the two and, not withstanding that Peter Van Dyke produced no investment funds, Van Dyke, in his new executive position, commenced to ‘raid AirLink’s bank account, of thousands’ and, simultaneously created unnecessary debt with local suppliers.

PVD then convinced airport authorities that Levy’s inept management had done harm to the company and announced that, because of unpaid rent due the airport he, not Levy, would henceforth direct all operations of AirLink.

Then, when Van Dyke convinced the local airport police to deny Levy access to his own offices, Paul Beswick was hired as legal counsel to Levy and, after a hearing, Peter Van Dyke was removed from the premises and Levy resumed management of Jamaica AirLink. A court case then ensued between Levy and PVD. PVD lost the case and was ordered by the Jamaican Court to pay the court cost and the legal fees of Levy’s attorney, Beswick.

Van Dyke then spent much time in efforts to raise funds to finance a ‘look-alike company’ (Jamaica Tour Link, Ltd.), by selling stock to elderly Jamaicans but local Civil Aviation Authorities denied the issuance of an operator’s permit. PVD then left Jamaica without paying the amounts ordered by the court. At that time PVD’s Jamaican work permit was revoked.

Levy went on to say that he thought that, previously, in Florida, PVD did sell investments in Phoenix Continental Corporation and it was his understanding that Van Dyke was not only an agent of Phoenix Continental, but in fact, he ran the company, even though he was not officially linked when the SEC shut down Phoenix for securities violations.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT HOWARD LEVY WAS ADAMANT THAT HIS CHARACTERIZATION OF THE QUESTIONABLE BUSINESS ETHICS OF PVD BE DOCUMENTED. ADDITIONALLY, HE SAID THAT HE WOULD BE GLAD TO RELATE THESE OPINIONS ABOUT PETER VAN DYKE TO ANYONE WHO INQUIRES. THE PHONE NUMBER FOR LEVY’S AIRLINE, INTERNATIONAL AIR LINK, IS 1 866 952 5807.
