If Danbury is a roll which affects the consumer market, what product is Wave going to offer consumers?
Are they going to centrally manage the trust mechanisms in home PCs themselves? - I don't see that they have the resources to support that kind of framework.
Or do they have partners, like Comcast and Sprint on the one hand, or MS and Yahoo on the other, say, which would offer PC trust services alongside their broadband /online services platform.
There's a big missing piece in this story.
ps the possibility of MS and Yahoo offering trusted services to consumers also helps justify the attempted takeover. There's a bunch of email accounts at Yahoo! And to turn those into secure commercial relationships is a pretty interesting opportunity for anyone.
