In your defense your response was innocent enough when reading the posts one at a time.

You had to read both posts in order to realize the author of 56342 had also lost a son in the war.

What I don't understand is the father was well versed in the war etc. My question is how he could have allowed his son to go.

It's a tragic waste.

After all these years I don't understand why we are still there.
