Hey Matt, nope...
I'm looking at a dead board I've modded for a while
and it's dead because the company hasn't done anything in quite a long time. It's a company I've watched for a number of years and spoken with the CEO several times over those years.

The company is still alive..just not doing anything including PRs.

this is the response I received following your advice:

We appreciate your interest in Moderating this board, but you haven't written any posts on this board recently. Please make a few posts and then you'll be able to submit a request to be Mod.

I will get the same response on a similar board which both companies are holding canadian oil sands leases. They are just sitting on them.....and so there's not really anything for anyone to post about right now.

This pretty much proves my point of saying, I have to post not one, but a few blah blah empty posts such as:
1) nothing going on..
2) still nothing going on.....
3) just checked.....nothing happening here still

Also, sometimes a Mod may have nothing to say because
a company has gone from say $3.00 down to .002 in 6 months
and they'd rather say nothing and just keep the board clean.

Another one went from .80 down to around .12 recently and
it's been in a slow consistent decline where I've looked for it
to bottom before considering an entry which I suspect will
happen around .05, but my opinion would be very unwelcome
by those who bought in at say .80...

However when something does happen after long months of silence
like it did with IVOI, -SHAZAM-, the IVOI board was moderated by someone familiar with it for a long time and the brief storm
of posts was weathered just fine.
Now IVOI has died down again....
Probably more long silent months until there's some action.
