my mom is 62 and has a host of problems. No one else in the family can take her in and I have always had an open door policy for her. Didn't even matter that she went into a 2 bedroom after the last one (my younger brother) moved out. She wanted her time. Now she can stay for as long as she wishes, and go and do as she pleases. Although she can't drive. So that will be a task for me.

True, people forget about their parents. We as children owe a lot to them for all they have done and put up with us while growing up. Yes, there is pay back from our kids, it all evens out at the end IMO!
