Excellent perspectives. Regarding whether or not the highest level management are overpaid - someone said they felt the company should not be paying people so much when they are in trouble financially. Somehow I think this person isn't seeing the whole picture.

First of all, one of the high level management took virtually no salary when he was first involved with New Visual and, in fact, put a signficant amount of his own money into the company to help turn it around. Another has taken a pittance of a salary for the past nearly two years and certainly deserves to be recompensed for the enormous amount of work he has done on behalf of NVC.

As to whether or not the company is in trouble financially, I don't think trouble is the accurate word. I look at the fact that we are trying to bring a disruptive technology to market. I ask, how many other companies working on something this big have this low a burn rate? How many have this low of a debt ratio? And how many improve their financial standing even while conducting that expensive and necessary research?

No. I don't like it that it is February of 2002 and we haven't seen much yet this year. But I believe we WILL see much this year. And those salaries will be more than justified. JMHO
