Doesn't it just as easily occur to you that what cintrix is saying is just as possible and even more so?
Dismissing it as ridiculous is, well, simply ridiculous. And there in lies the problem almost everyone holding shares is in, they have listened to the Koolaid Crew's continuous pumping, without keeping a concerning eye on the share price. Because these jokers said everything was fine, that its going to explode any day, the declining pps and massive selloff was blindly dismissed.
Now they are forced to try and rectify their situation, deciding whether to risk throwing more good money after bad, hoping for a pop so they can at least hope to break even. Or cutting their losses and writing it off as a Pump & Dump Lesson Learned.
