I don't know about Joan and John in Iowa... Around here, people are very angry with the current state of affairs, and the feeling that R gov has deceived them thruout this admin. Our republicans have been more fiscal conservatives. There is really nothing "conservative" about Bush's regime. Guiliani would work for NE republicans if his baggage wasn't so grotesque. Everytime Guiliani opens his mouth, 911 falls out, and people are looking to the future for change, and optimism. Exploiting the 911 tragedy for any reason is always offensive.
