to the intel enthusiasts..

am i wrong to think that we NEED AMD around? .. seriously. what happens to chip prices and innovation if AMD falters? ..

what is the official market share nowadays anyway?

i hear all this negativity regarding AMD stuff.. but i honestly believe if it weren't for AMD.. we'd have a chip monopoly, prices would suck, and there would be nothing to really spur innovation.

intel would be wise to keep an eye on AMD.. it wasn't that long ago when AMD was mopping the floor with intel when it introduced the athlon line.
