afterdark: It's neen a lotta years since I read Ayn Rand. She did write novels that grabbed me, shook me, and kept me reading. But I hard a hard time buying her philosophy; though I admit that a part of me was drawn to it. But I was young and kinda stupid. One note; the Fountainead as a movie was terribly stiff. And Gary Cooper as Howard Roark was, I've always thought, terribly cast. I'd've have chosen Gregory Peck, but even he could not have saved the film.
