To force a veto it first needs to pass both the The House and Senate.

It needs to be a stand alone bill.

It won't happen.

Torture is America's dirty little secret. Because we live in a democracy it's out there for all the world to see.

This is a joke floating around the internet. If push came to shove most Americans would probably agree.


[T. Bubba Bechtel, a part-time City Councilman from Midland , TX , was asked on a local live radio talk show the other day just what he thought of the allegations of torture of the Iraqi prisoners. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.

"If hooking up an Iraqi prisoner's balls to a car's battery cables will save one MARINE life, then I have just two things to say":
"Red is positive"
"Black is negative"

The military lives by a different code of honor. Bush and his stooges have bastardized that code.

The shame will be on them.
