This board moves closer and closer to RB every day.
A bit more veiled, but not much. If you can't tell who is who then I'll be glad to send you a scorecard. Some of the resemblances are very interesting indeed.
Did E-trade HK short based on their information. I would certainly bet on it, easy money for them, I bet they couldn't believe their good fortune, then .... no 144 shares. Hate it when a good plan gets derailed. Several others here probably feel the same way. I love when the trap actually works. Maybe they were neither dumb or confused, maybe they or someone even smarter was buying at .48. Someone did and someone sold.
IMAN, dumb = confused? You are better than that. Dumb is unintelligent and confused is being mixed up. While it is possible for them to be synonyms they are not synonyms in boatRgirl's post. I'm sure they did not know how to file for the release of their 144 shares, they live in China. E-trade HK advised them and IMO saw a great opportunity, the sellers got their stock at what, .13 so a sale at .50 is not dumb or confused. Mr. Chen cut off the route and you have to give him some credit. Someone got caught with bad information.
Does anyone think E-trade HK was the only one who had this info? Do you think they kept it quiet and only told their MM? And that MM kept it quiet and didn't tell his buddy MM? Yeah, that's the way it works. BS.
So some here have shown themselves for what they are, based on bad information that they thought was "golden" but it was "accidently" not true. Whether it was an accident or not, we will never know. Was it confused or dumb like a fox, we will never know. Did it provide an opportunity, looks like it, and we will know at some point in time, maybe very soon.
I'm not interested in any witty exchanges, so save your responses to me for someone who wants to live here, I don't.
Another lesson learned. I hope the DC guy learned something, bailing at exactly the wrong time.
See you much later.
