Someone told me they thought the reason that younger people have no values today is because the older generation (probably meaning us)... had such a hard time when they were growing up that they gave their children anything and everything they wanted ...and now, those kids have married and it's all they know so history repeats itself.

The old values are gone. For now, at least. Perhaps the next generation will come full circle and they'll get back to the basics.
