The MM's will take it where the buys and sells direct them. I think we give them too much credit. The day traders are what's been holding us back, like the one that kept buying huge lots at 21 on friday, and selling small lots at 21 to keep it from upticking. Someone other than MM's are manipulating this. When that person gets all he wants at 21, he's gonna back off the game and wait for it to run and then dump a truckload. Your post is mostly correct, imo, but it's this guy playing 21 with us that we have to watch and worry about... imo
