gman, if you or anyone else with T/A expertise cares to comment, need help understanding how to "read" the volume/price bars at left axis in ref chart(link below).

Thinking they represent cumulative trading volumes within a price range over timeframe of the chart with grey being down ticks and pink being the up tick trades. If that is correct(???), what is it saying? "The floor is in at $21" is this rookie's guess since it trades mostly on upticks at that level.
