SNPS and ODSY (Where the BIG MONEY is flowing out) Traders its been very often our plays have been in this list (upside as well as downside) ODSY is probably the biggest loser today of all the 8,000 odd nasdaq stocks trading above 5 with a volume change of 1,800% which is why we call our earnings plays EXPLOSIVE. SNPS "only" a 600% increase in volume <g> Earnings plays outperform both short and long the rest of the market.
This basically means that these stocks (SNPS has of course more importance for us) are losing support from money managers, IRA holders, of course Mutual Fund managers so what might look like one day pullback is in reality the end of the line for these babies. We got QLGC, SNDK, ELX, NVLS, KLAC and many other major techs on that list in the last 2 months and they remain in "isolation" from the big buyers which is why we like them so much for downside. KLAC was up partially today but even that succumbed to the downfall of the semiconductor in particular as the SOX (carefully watched this weak) might be mortally wounded and is confirming yesterday's drop from the important 500 area.
