I think that is what Apple needs to do. Get off their high horse about selling proprietary equpiment and grab the OS market like MS has. Maybe this is the beginning. I hope so. Their technology has always been very innovative.
Really like your thinking on this. I don't like how MS buys out or kills the competition. Many good competitive products that were technically better than MS equivalents were run out of business because of marketing practices.
I am a big fan of Jobs and Apple. Just about every apple owner I've known was very happy and loyal to the product. The only reason I personally go Win is because it is then compatible with everything I do in the office and when I work at home it's easily transferable.
Did you see the news about Motorola closing a plant and scaling back production?
