I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORT, BUT...

I can't agree with your evaluations entirely...For one thing , you are taking the drop of one day as representative of the value of FTL...Perhaps if it were a true x-dividend date and the stock went down the next day equal to the distribution , as is the case of any company that issues a dividend in stock...(ADM is such a company)...Please understand, I myself thought that the distribution was at least in part responsible for the sell off, and I posted about it saying so...But I don't know for sure...And sometimes the sell off takes days or weeks...We might well have been down today had it not been for the news release,consequently, your formula would be giving the spin off shares much to much value...
I think instead, the price will be set with some reasonable evaluation by the company ,FTL, and the underwriters of the issue based of the audited value of the company,divided by the shares overall....The shares will be listed and then , as you know, anything can happen...I recent times, I saw issues come to market that doubled that same day....Anything can happen and after time the first day means little...
What I have been asking is whether or not anyone knew anything about FTL's finances ,etc...sales , etc...They are in the right field and this distribution might be something we will all be glad happened...
