This is sour grapes plain and simple. I posted early the next morning that Arod's amnnoucement was bush league stuff during the game.

But that was NOT the Yankees fault.

The fact is free agent players have until 10 days after the WS last game to declare themselves as free agents.

Torre's contract was up and they had to deal with that first then the 4 free agents of concern.

They made no major announcements per MLB rules period.

Feel free to hate the damn Yankees all you want. But they stole no one's thunder. That would be the media.
