my take on the 8k is complex, it's not a bad one imo, but it's a start.

so now their rollin into retail sector franchises, and the first set of information on the first aquisition is public.
its a start.

operations leading up to this deal, suggest to me, along with some of the personal guarantees from the cfo/ceo, depending on which company your looking at, combined with the investment seaway pulled from their fund companies securities in the markets, all tolled that the somewhat shiny personas fronting this company are gambling that they can pull this off.

having not dd'd this to death, i am more interested in the hackets aquisition, if and when it transpires, and the inherent potential synergies expected from this proposed conglomeration.

If the intention is to move all or a good portion of these brand names from hacketts into wisebuys, that itself might fuel an honest college try to revive and streamline wisebuys.

I suspect that some of these large retail brands are producing their wares in china, and it might just be that is what the ceo refers to when they mention supplier reorganization.

Holy none of this was addressed of course in the 8k, this is pure speculation and yet has to be looked into imo.

not sure if anyone has sourced the production geography for those brand names, but hacketts has a lot of serious brand names, and is rumored to be a little more attracive as an aquisition. The products demographics seem to be east coast oriented family and consumer based from a glance, i know a lot of that sector produces in PRC. Might not be a bad idea to drop that idea into the dd bin, chew it up a bit.
