Someone publishes a bash piece. He leaks it first to his "friends". Then he publishes it either formally or on message boards. Is he paid to bash?

Huh? Are you saying that if I, for example, do some research and share it, say, with Jim Bishop, and then I post it on a message board, I'm somehow "paid"???
