Same thing happened to me once. They actually declined my card when I was at the Circuit City buying the computer!!! I called them right from the store and they said it was abnormal activity for me so they were watching out for my own best interest! It was aggravating but in the end they were right. I rarely use credit cards so it was an unusual purchase for me, most of the activity on my card was just for hotels and rental cars so this purchase did stick out.

It's nice to see that they do keep a close eye on things. I know someone that had their identity compromised and it is a bitch and a half to get straightened out!!!!!! They have had to get so cautious out of necessity because they do get burned for the charges if they don't catch the thieves and many times even if they do catch them they probably never receive full pay back.
