JB, Interesting point. But didn't SWOG 0536 enroll that trial before the Flex trial survival analysis was triggered. The efficacy of erbitux in lung cancer, was observed in several other phase II trials. BMS100 the most notable example.
As I recall the enrollment in Bond II was quick, and the results were great. But it is taking forever to confirm those results in a phase III trial. So it is hard to get excited about this SWOG 0536 single arm phase II trial, even if it shows efficacy, because it will be years before a registrational trial with this combo regimen will be completed.
