John, I don't know, I think that someone has been "pushing" the FDA to give their partial approval on Erbutox. I have seen politics involved in good drug approval practices before (Rumsfled influencing the FDA to approve Aspartame after conducting a series of test with Sacharrine, which table salt would not have passed, then, after finishing his term under Nixon, taking on as top man at Searle). The FDA has simply opened the door for massive experimentation on living human being and they are hoping that such experiments will find combinations of Erbutox and chemotherapy (like Cis-platinum) to show (subjective) improvement in outcome. Erbutox has not even been shown to increase life expectancy, supposedly it shrinks tumors (well, I have not seen unequivocal results anywhere, if anyone has seen any, please give me a URL). They are going to charge between $10,000 to $20,000 per year, for a drug which provide no healing but just "hope". What a travesty. IMCL was founded by crooks, now sitting in jail, and I think that the company is rotten from within.
