Perhaps I am too romantic and a bit locked into the era from which I came, Post-depression and WWII.

I have enjoyed several recent movies like BAND OF BROTHERS - LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA and FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS, which emphasize that we are all in this together.

I am very naive I guess to believe that anyone who has unearthed potentially devastating information would NOT share it with the board.

Today's - I GOT MINE -NOW YOU GET YOURS BEFORE I GET YOURS mentality doesn't work with me.

Information is what drives our lives - and yes it is what you know that the other person doesn't that gives you the edge, BUT

. . . once having gotten the news, for instance THAT PBLS LOST THE COURT CASE, and had taken precautions, there is no
reason not to share information with the board, other than to gloat and watch others squirm. Even having the news, decisions still had to be made whether to sell or not.

IMO of course.
