He may be old as far as baseball standards go. But he is SMART!

Most pitchers only have speed going for them.
Once they get older losing that fastball they have no idea how to PITCH.

There is a huge dfference as you know between one who throws a ball as hard as he can then one who out thinks his opponnet.

Jamie Moyer is a man who has that type of wisdom and has survived all these years because he knows how to pitch.

He will have some bad games now and then.

But over all when a manager sends him out there a good % of the time he can count on him to keep his team in the game and to eat up innings.

He is a master of the game when it comes to pitching.
I've watched him pitch hundreds of games. A joy to watch.
