I believe private company out of New York. Fleet Securities handles their financial, I believe - try their site @ TradingDirect.com. They are to the point. I have used Merril Lynch, E-Trade, Scottrade and the like and this company does the best for the buck hands down. No frivilous charges. To open an account, go to site, sign up, an E-mail will be sent telling your account is up, then fund it - no minimum and no delays when you fund it - if you send a check on Monday, and they get it by Wednesday, you are trading Thursday or Friday. This company is made for the person who wants to handle their own trades, but they have great customer service (prompt)along with other full brokerage services.
