Were the PRs vetted by IBM and Intel? I have no idea. I do know that the ultimate responsibility of the content of a press release is on the shoulders of the company who issues it: Wave Systems.

You're trying to imply, I believe, that if IBM and/or Intel somehow "signed off" on the press releases that it would free Wave of responsibility if it is later decided there was some sort of evil intent in the PRs. I don't know if that's the case or not. I suppose it could help Wave (in a future, theoretical jury trial) if IBM and Intel came to their defense.
