Bearslayre: You hit the proverbial nail squarely on the head. GTEM can't even pay their past due bills, but have agreed to purchase 50% of TAO's stock. If I'm not mistaken, GTEM agreed to fund half of the Mexican JV as well.

I personally think that Murch & crew packed it up and left. Notice that there is no comment from Murch in the latest fluff whereas in the past, he was always "quoted" as saying something like, "We look forward to working with our new German partners at TAO Technologies....." But, that ain't in the PR. Murch is undeniably absent.

Since Sanswire is a division of Globetel, I wonder how that might play out in the German bankruptcy courts since GTEM has already had one German failure and ran out.

I have said in previous posts that the Strat had either been dismantled or scrapped altogether. The PR clearly stated that it was going to be 'shipped' to Germany. That adds up to a week or two to disassemble it, another week to truck it to the east coast, another couple of weeks to ship it to Germany by boat, another week to truck it from the German docks (after customs delay) to Stuttgart, two or three months to re-assemble it, a few months more to run static tests....in other words, MORE DELAYS.

Obviously, Elisra is completely out of the picture. Anyone with two grains of intelligence can see that. And, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Sanswire's participation in the Trident trials.

No man should be considered totally useless....because he can always serve as a bad example.
