I would say that would be an excellent suggestion-- that is gold and appropriate stocks. It's interesting how wallstreet parrots the same message such as you should only own no more then 5-10% of your portfolio in gold. For the last 4-5 years the large portion of my portfolio has been gold and silver stocks and I'm quite content about that. We have just seen the beginning of the move in these precious metals.
