Wrong, Mets fans are not chickens we do not run and hide. We on the other hand will tell it how it is.

The Mets aren't playing good ball right now, personally I was shocked that they lost yesterday. I wasn't shocked with Brian Lawerence on the mound, because I do not think he is that good. The Bullpen has been terrible, and the credit for that goes to the Mets GM. He let Bradford go, to give schoenweis roughly the same money, when bradford proved he could pitch in NY last year. Then he continued By given Mr. Mota a 2 year contract, we know what made him good last year, it wasn't cereal either.

However, I do expect the mets to hold on and win the division, although PELFREY is pitching today he has looked good in the last two starts though. Hopefully things come in threes. This weekend, Pedro, Glavine, and Perez are pitching so better pitching is upon the horizon, they should at least win some of those games. It got 1 1/2 before then the mets extended the lead, I will start to get nervous when the phillies are within 1/2 game, although concerned, I still believe the Mets are by far the best team in the NL. However, I do believe they are underachieving right now to say the least. Yet the cardinals can say they limped into the playoffs last year, underachived, and they won a World Series. The Tigers blew a division and made it to the world series. So anyone who thinks momentum going into the playoffs is important that theory was blown to shreds last year. I believe the Mets will win today, anyone can be a fan when things are going well, however the true fan will stand by the team they root for when things are heading south, Since I'm a true fan, all I have to say is I continue to believe and Lets go mets.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
