SINA starting out like JCOM. We do have a straddle but locked into the puts for a gain after the spectacular move in SINA and unless something extraordinary happens in the morning (we'll be waiting) we might have another JCOM mover on our hands.


We did emphasize that SINA's move might be totally different from SOHU's and not codependent, however I would like to see a like gain (14% to be convinced) JCOM started out to be 'mediocre' and turned into a very strong move down and I expect the GAP move in SINA to perhaps be more interesting than we get at the open. Of course all these opinions don't take into consideration what the analysts make of the report. The average traders will have about as much influence on SINA as they had on any earnings plays in the past....zip!
