Bluffing is part of politics. Saddam bluffed the world into believing he was tougher than he was, or so they rationalize. Many politicians claimed to be concerned, but only the Decider was dumb enough to take the bait, and lanch the US into a 5 year quagmire with no end... BUT... Are you seriously gullible enough to believe Iraq was about "liberation" -- or oil reserves and the USD? Years before the 911 terror attacks, our think tank legislators at AEI, CFR and others were urging war with Iraq... It's hard to believe that the world's leaders didn't know Saddam was nothing more than an old blow-hard...

Do you think Iraq is better off now than pre-invasion? Are we safer because we launched the war?
