As many correctly pointed out, it is certainly bad news since they tried to get it out Friday. Of course last weeks sharp decline in SP also confirmed it as "bad" news. Remember, the news was out, even if "not" from the company.
So who is "leaking" this type of material news, even during an SEC investigation? For the news to get to the "outside" it has to come from the "inside".
As few people as are left, it's amazing that there is still at least one person, unloyal to the company. When a company's former General Counsel has to step in... it's rarely seen as a positive.
