In reading the last series of posts, I can see that you simply think that management from Wave is lying about what they have built and are testing with undislcosed enterpise clients using either IBM or HP computers.

We've all been told the same things. Key recover and other services are critical to the functioning of a trusted computing environment. That comes from all sources including Intel. We're told that Wave has built services that address this need and they were demoed at conferences last year. We have been told through contacts to the company and I also a remark in one of the conference calls, that we are testing the services with enterprise customers and working to improve them based on real live experience. If you contact the company and ask for further info (a problem if you think they are just going to lie or mislead) you'd learn that things are going well and that they've received a lot of positive feedback and encouragement from customers. But no specifics.

That leads up to today. Where the heck are the services and when will they become available? We don't make money while they sit in the lab or in uncompensated pilots. Valid concern and one of mine. These were expected sooner than today - at least I inferred that.

IDF is coming in a couple of weeks and these services seem like one of the key ingredients to allow wide enterprise adoption. so I assume the availability and details about the services will become much more evident before and/or during the meeting. I will join you in crying if after the meeting we look back and wonder why these services were not mentioned and no one has any idea when they might be avialable or that they were even working. I highly doubt that will happen but few things are guaranteed.

Chill out for a couple of weeks.

P.S. Equating what Wave has done with a dormant back office function for a service that isn't active with what the y are doing with TCG doesn't make much sense. Sure Wave could have spent the time and money to notify everyone that they weren't handling some functions anymore, but for all I know you are almost the only one to ask about their old password. I don't rememebr mine - I don't even remember whay I had one and what is was for.
