I agree that there will continue to be a production shortfall. There is also the very real possibility of Aus and SAfrica mines which are not profitable being mothballed.
My understanding is that the shortfall is currently 1,200 tonnes per annum

The first "few years" increased production would be
18.8 million ounces or 274 tonnes

The next statement after even more years increased production of
15.6 million ounces or 227 tonnes

There is also the factor of increased consumption, so, if the increases are true then the shortfall continues at approx 700 + tonnes per annum
