Spoken like a true Communist, take from the "rich and give to the poor". When Alberta was a farming community and Ontario was a rich industrial, financial centre - did you want to send dollars for health care? (Alberta has had a net outflow of equilization payments since 1905). Or Air Canada - which by law has to be headquartered in Quebec? How about taxing the banks or pharmacuetical companies, mainly in Central Canada?
Alberta had a balanced budget for years and it's main income was agriculture. One of the things that got it into trouble was putting a hospital or government service in every town or hamlet. As for health care, 95% of the people you speak to say health care has IMPROVED dramatically in the last couple or years since they cut the budget.
Your "central" government, supports the fact that Quebec "owns" the water coming to James Bay and not Newfoundland. A pipeline carrying oil from the Maritimes will have to go through Quebec rather than take the short route. If you read the constitution of Canada, you would see that oil is a provincial jurisdiction.
As for oil, a lot new exploration is off the coast of Newfoundland. As for nationalizing the oil companies, yes, the government could run them the same way they are running health care. But who would buy oil at $700 per barrel. We are not suggesting any break up, we are just saying that "The East" has never listened to concerns outside of their region and if the election proved anything this was it.
