Seems simple to me. Don't they calculate the average closing price of the stock when working a deal?

Whether they bought 100,000 shares, or 1,000 shares, you'd still end up with the same result..... A close at the ask. Cheap and simple.

A higher average. And a bit more appealing, stable, 6ix cent stock. :~)

Temporary support until something significant actually happens.

Of course, I could be just as wrong as 99.99% of the posters here. :~)
