All I can say after the emails. NEVER BE IMPRESSED By table pounders! Folks giving you targets in triple digits on stocks like SNDK, or unreasonable expectations on others telling you NOT TO TAKE PROFITS!! We noticed today that SNDK was "sick" and took advantage of that sickness. Folks were talking about holding stocks through thick and thin, through the earnings report with upside targets of up to 100!, "Look who your leaders are, give the novices a break!" We got our target above 71 and were looking for a way to save those 25% of the options and we sure as heck found the best way ----> 65 or 70 puts for February.

We liked SYMC and called it, we didn't like SNDK and called that put. When you do damage control go back look at past postings of your 'bookmarked heroes' and note they are telling you to sell the entire market short or buy the worst kind of earnings plays and not to take profits when they appear. Here is where we digress, we are followers, not leaders. Following the trend, changing direction when we feel we might have strayed too far (i.e. builders, we liked CTX and so called RYL and DHI) and above all putting ego on back burner to the actual trend. Many traders here can't seem to do that. We felt we had enough with EBAY so we closed it for the most part. EGO HAS NO PLACE for stock traders, and unfortunately the lemmings follow the leaders and fall to their demise. We can't help that. NOT TO TAKE PROFITS in say KLIC, EBAY or SNDK would be the worst strategy imaginable for traders.

Not to finally see that SNDK was not going to do it, or get excited by the SYMC uptrend today means you are living in a cocoon. We got MERQ, we got NSCN, we got more than those! What we didn't get was NFLX, okay. But folks what did you get? Did you hold SNDK because folks were swearing it would go to 100? or the techs heading for the biggest rally ever?? We are saying we are going to follow the trend, and try to find the leading stock plays (earnings plays) in the leading sectors, and LOCK IN THOSE PROFITS whenever we can.
