Edited: No. The news release issued in the Fall of 2006 mentioned developing lower altitude airships and "naval battle groups" was listed as one possible use. It was included in a list of possible uses but I don't recall the phrase "communications bridge" being used.

Bagdad Bob - it's not that one. The earlier, Fall 2006 news release mentioned developing lower altitude airships (for the very first time to my knowledge). The wording was different. If you or Sharklady have the premium features, perhaps you can find posts in the Fall and Winter of 2006 which discussed this. I know I did, more than once! I would appreciate it, because I'm packing to go on a trip today. TIA
