Have you noticed your account dropping in value?

Have you noticed a consistent need to fund your account?

Have you stopped checking your trading P&L because it depresses you?

Well then stop reading message boards! Anyone that says they have inside information or information about a "promo" or whatever else is full of shit.

If you can't trade effectively by yourself without reading message boards then you shouldn't be trading at all. Otherwise you're just putting YOUR money into the pockets of the people scamming you (that is the POS companies and the people pumping the stocks).

Jumping from one stock where enthusiasm was high (to begin with) that has lost you money to another with high enthusiasm (consensus is "blue sky", "MOASS", "1,000% gain next week") expecting a different outcome you are insane. Sometimes you'll hit one but without experience and strict controls you'll end up losing tons of money.
